Surplus Chinese SKS's are Available in store and at the Chantilly Gun Show this weekend.

These are military production rifles made by the Jianshe Arsenal, AKA factory 26. These rifles were produced before Norinco existed. All of these rifles are C&R FFL eligible.

They came out of Albania, so at least 20 years there would put them in that part of the world for the Kosovo war. There is trench art and writing on some of these rifles that it is written using the latin alphabet. These are true military surplus rifles and they are in turn in condition. The Albanians replaced a stock here and there but not much else. Expect the stocks on these rifles to have marks, scratches, gouges, dents, bumps, bruises, and other assorted military use wear. The metal on this lot looks to be in good condition, bluing conditions vary by rifle.

These rifles were in heavy cosmoline, we cleaned up the exterior surfaces of the rifles so they can be handled. They will all need to be taken apart and cleaned thoroughly before firing. Also please remember that an SKS has a free floating firing pin, which can cause slam fires if the firing pin is stuck in the outside position. A good rule that everyone should be following is "ALWAYS CHAMBER A FIREARM IN A SAFE DIRECTION". This is especially important with an SKS as slam firing 10rds in an unsafe direction can be catastrophic. We recommend you have your rifle checked by a competent gunsmith.

We graded these rifles A, B, C, and we also looked for matching serial numbers. Matching serials numbers are the receiver, dust cover, stock, magazine, and trigger guard all matching.

Grade A will be above average cosmetically for this shipment
Grade B will represent the average of the shipment
Grade C will be either in poor condition or have a cracked stock. Some cracked stocks will still be ok to shoot.

    Prices are:
    Grade A matching serial numbers = $419.00
    Grade A = $399.00
    Grade B matching serial numbers = $399.00
    Grade B = $379.00
    Grade C matching serial numbers = $349.00
    Grade C = $329.00
