So he talked me into getting a M11/9, I'm sold on the versatility of the different uppers and calibers available for it. I haven't looked at them in years, can you guys give me a quick refresh run down of what to look for or stay away from?

Teratos is bad for your credit card. (all in good fun man)

    IMHO, nothing...

Buy the best deal. If its got cracked welds... as long as its cheaper... sure buy it and get them fixed. If its stripped, as long as its cheaper buy it and add parts... I would not pay more for NIB and I would not care that much about what upper is comes with unless its the one you want. They are parkerized, so that easy to redo... I have reparked mine... But one and buy one soon at the best price you can.

    I have a friend selling a NIB 380. I think he wants $8k-8500.
