Polecat was referring to passat4012, typically 1st post's should be done in the Introduction section, not that there's anything wrong with jumping right in though.

Yes, no worries. Let you off easy since this was your first experience with us. Better get your skin toughened up for the long haul and a good humor cause we jab a each other a lot. Have fun, learn a lot and be safe. :D Have you gotten your C&R yet?

Another thing to add to my 'To-do' list, C&R.

Been busy with assesments, got another one next week to do.

(If it keeps me employed, I'll deal with it.)

Taking off work and noon today and going to see Mario who's got a pair of CMMG lowers for me :)

Not sure if im going to MG or a friend's place in Waldorf to shoot. Maybe both.

And then on my way back north to AA Co. Meeting a friend (who is picking up a new pistol today, not sure what it is, but knowing him it will be good) at MDSR and then out for dinner.

    Blasted 600rds of .223 through 2 AR's.

    Zero malfunctions.

Iron sights, rounds went were they were supposed to.

No unsafe handling and all were responsive to range commands.

Not too hot, not too cold, but just right.

A very good day at the Grove. :)

Cray Al blew the extractor out of his Remington....again.:lol2:

I saw him looking around for something and and just knew it was the extractor. I haven't been to MG since last summer and the same thing happened to him then.
Hey Al, I'll send you a message the next time I'm going and you can bring a spare.

Did he find all the pieces this time?

Last time it happened we looked for AWHILE trying to find them all, never did though.

Nope, just the detent. Helped him for about 20 minutes. It went bye-bye.:sad53:

Sad part, it's the only thing he brought. I offered to let him blast through some of my ammo, but he looked a bit dejected and declined.

I swear, Al and his self-destructing .22 - great entertainment, but it'll be the end of us that shoot with him.

(The sad thing is, he offered to sell me one of them, I'm not too sure about that offer.)

I was just talking to him, he thinks that round of rapid-fire is what did it this time.

He's about 30 mins from Chantilly.

    Yes - textbook definition.
