    If Trump doesn't get his sh1t together, it will definitely put the Senate in play (independent of the gun banners, even if they will seek credit to claim political capital post election). I hope he does very soon or the convention in Cleveland will be a battle.

    These gun control advocates don't really give a shit about anyone; they just can't stand the idea that they don't have total control something.

    Indeed, but I would add that 'they' just want to win so they go back to their constituency and say they did big things to stop violence.

    Maybe the grabbers are getting that desperate to pass anything under any circumstances, but they sure aren't making "common sense gun control" seem very common-sensical.
