A neighbor has this air rifle that looks like it is in virtually perfect shape except...some rust on the end of the barrel from sitting in the garage.

Can I get some opinions on this rifle...accuracy and durability and overall quality.

And how much are these air rifles used and how much are they new?

I'm thinking about adding to my small collection of air rifles.

I have the Ruger Blackhawk in .22 cal. It is a nice gun but had to throw the scope in the trash can. Sights are a bit fragile. Have to hold it loose when firing for best accuracy.

Looks like they're running about $140 new from various on line distributors. Springer versus piston air gun so as mentioned artillery hold will improve accuracy. In .177 you'll get 1k fps; with light alloys you can crack the sound barrier.
