Im looking into a shotgun to replace my current snd someone reccommended me a Saiga 12. Im seeing prices online vary from around 400 to 1400 hundred and cant really tell a difference that would justify a price like that. Is it just new vs used prices? Thanks

Hard to believe you can find one around $400. Thay usually start at $800 and go up. The more expensive ones are the ones that have been converted and had performance work done to it.

The Chinese clones like the Lynx are $400-$500. Recoil gave the Lynx a fairly good review, as they seem to be somewhat closer to the S12 than the older Catamount was.

Saiga prices doubled when the ban on Kalishnakof arms went into effect.
