Just bolted the extra hoo-hah on this brand new Ruger Precision Rimfire. Alas, its would-be suppressor is still in jail, so it's not as fun as it will be. But I still had to throw it on the table for a glamour shot. Time to do some plinking!

It's a Winchester 9422. This was called the Wintuff configuration. An XTR with the laminate stock. I don't think it's been fired or if so, only few times.

Started life with a lame ass name like "Tacticool". Liked the short barrel, liked the threads. Re did the Boyd's stock and widened the barrel channel and threw in a DIP kit. Did it a couple years ago and have always been happy with my decision

This new suppressor finally got out of federal prison, so it's waiting to go out and play. Perhaps this weekend. We'll see. It'll get a go on this MK-IV, as well as on a Ruger Precision Rimfire, and on a S&W 15-22.

I haven't seen one of these posted in this thread yet so here goes....

Very accurate, short lever throw and takes Ruger 10/22 mags. The previous owner refinished the stock and did an okay job, not great.

Conceptually, I like it a lot. This particular unit (a not-cheap, but not quite as low-profile and sleek as a Too Expensive unit) feels just a little bulky for such a nice lightweight pistol. It works well, takes a little getting used to. Have produced no-rest groups at ~45 feet that aren't any bigger than (visually, with a bit of a smear from a minor astigmatism on my part) the red dot itself. So, groovy. It's my Star Wars gun
