I’m surprised they did not choose a Saturday with so many of his colleagues caught on the MGA treadmill on a Friday, when we can expect there us state business to attend to...

I would bet that the legislative day will be suspended on Friday in order for the entire floor to attend his funeral.

More pictures when I get home, but it was a poignant tribute to our friend, Sen. Wayne Norman.

We will post up a picture of the whole Vigil, which included even more legislators than Patriot Picket members.

After the legislators exited to make their sessions we put our crew together for a group picture. To the left is Stoveman talking to John Rydell Of FOX 45 in Balitimore. Earlier he was interviewed by WBAL TV, Baltimore and later by WMAR TV, Baltimore.

The wreath you see in the picture was a thoughtful tribute provided by Welder516 and Welder Jr.

I had the honor of placing that wreath at the front of the Senate Chamber as President Mike Miller and the other senators looked on. It was an honor to do this on behalf of all the hard working participants of the Patriot Picket.

A great tribute to Sen. Norman, and I thank every Patriot who made tonight such a success!

At the vigil, I spoke briefly and was quoted in the Sun.

Colleagues and supporters held a candlelight vigil in Norman’s honor before Monday evening’s legislative sessions. Jeff Hulbert, founder of pro-Second Amendment group Patriot Picket, organized the vigil.

“We’ve lost probably the happiest soldier that I’ve ever met in Annapolis,” Hulbert said. “It’s hard to imagine that he’s not here.”

Granted, I didn't have much interaction with Sen. Norman, but I'd like to think he would've approved of our humble send-off.

Stoveman did a heck of a job paying tribute to Sen. Norman on behalf of everyone.

Rack, and the PP alum, thank you for doing this. Sen Norman was not my district representative, but I spoke to him more than my own senator because he was on the Judicial Proceedings Committee. He always valued my opinion and inout, or at least made me feel like he did. He was never too busy for me in Annapolis and made it a point to greet me when he would see me in the committee hearing rooms. I can tell you he was extremely pleased at what the PP was and is doing. He saw a value in it all and appreciated what the PP and all its supporters brought to his back.

I was not particularly close to Senator Norman, but felt like having him in Annapolis gave me and the rest of us a "fighting chance". His presence will be missed just as much, if not more, than his participation in the general assembly.

Here’s some analogue coverage from FOX45 in Baltimore to hold us over until we can get the digital copy.

John Rydell covered the vigil—and the impending gun bill day.

The delegate opposing our ideas on school safety doesn’t have a better one.

This was not a partisan event and there were several legiscritters with Ds behind their names who attended and Sen Brochin actually spoke. Sen Madaleno, who wants to be your governor, declined to participate when invited as he passed by.

Super proud to be able to stand with my brothers and sisters out there tonight.
