Sadly, Bob from Shooting Ventures in moving out of state this summer and will no longer be doing transfers.
I haven't had to look in awhile, but every one I'm seeing now is 50+ dollars not including the MSP Fee. Are there any FFL's left that have reasonable transfer fees? Doesn't need to be a dealer with a shop, a home based FFL is fine. Bob was a deal at $25 plus $10 MSP fee, and looking around it doesn't seem I'll find one that good anymore.

I travel around alot for work so carrol, frederick, howard, even moco(yeah right) would be fine.

    Who are you guys using?

I’ve been using Bob at Gunrunners for 6 or 7 years. He’s in downtown Frederick. He only charges a transfer fee if guns shipped in and not for something he sells you. Transfer fee is $40. As always Maryland will take their $10 if you are buying a pistol or lower.

Evening hours (5p to 8p) during the week which makes it easier for the working stiffs. 9a to 5p on Saturdays. Closed Sunday, Monday and the third Tuesday of the month.

Thanks. Is that $40 total or $40 plus $10 for $50 total?

We are located just a mile or so off of RT70 in Woodbine, our transfers are $25.00 plus $10 MSP if necessary. We do have limited hours but I am pretty flexible with appointments as well. Let us know if we can help you

I was checking your IP section and didn't see that rate. That would be great. I will PM you shortly.

I think the machine-gun nest charges at a discount rate if you are a member.

Unfortunately I'm not a member there.

I found a couple places searching online, Jon Raymond buck in eldersburg and another in Frederick called retic arms. Anybody used either of them? I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what's up.

I have used Jim at Retic Arms on several transfers, $35 including the $10 MSP.

Home based FFL, evening & weekends only. Off Rt 15 about 1.5 miles north of Point of Rocks.
