Why take a risk at less than ten cents a round? It would probably work but I wouldn't bother.

I got one of those bulk boxes and a fair number were like that so a few cents would "add up" vs. be worthwhile enough for a complaint...Thanks for the response

I would file a complaint to see if you can get a replacement box or your money back. Are they Remington Golden Bullets?

I recycle rounds like that a lot...especially through a stout bolt action.
No problems yet.

It's six cents worth of brass and lead.

Round file it.

I would shoot it in a bolt action only. Less of a chance for it to come apart and tear up your rifle.

If it chambers, I'll shoot it.

I guess I'm overly cautious. I've tossed rounds for less.

I agree.. I would shoot it too.. unless I for whatever reason dont trust my chamber to handle an odd explosion. Post up what you end up doing... especially if you en up shooting it. Safe shooting.

That one is borderline to me. A little less dent and I'd shoot it for sure. A little more and no way. I'd probably throw it out unless I had my bolt action Winchester with me.

To me, the projectile looks like it's a little crooked or bent coming out of the case, too, so it may not chamber nicely or fly straight. If that was your only round left and there was one last zombie coming, shoot it! Otherwise, you're right, just toss it in the dud bucket.
