Apparently, Dillon has an upgraded XL650. The XL750 is released for Pre-order today.
https://www.dillonprecision.com/xl75...8_1_26745.html Interesting. |

Yep, talked about it here:
https://www.mdshooters.com/showthread.php?t=236947 I wish I shot enough 9mm to make it worth it. Someday, those kids will be old enough...

I can't justify it now, but it would be cool to have my Hornady set up for LP and another progressive setup for LP.

I’m seeing the 650 on several sites starting at $499 and $550. May have to sell my Lee turret and drink the blue Kool-aid.

From what I can see, it's not that much of an upgrade, particularly if you have invested in some of the third party upgrades for the 650 to help with the 9mm powder spillage problems. I don't see the new primer system as reason to upgrade either as I really haven't had any problems with mine. If they gave us another station to do swaging it might be worth a change but alas that is not the case.

Thanks. I gotta organize my funds a bit, but I think the Scheels deal might be where I wind up. Cheaper than anything I've seen online. CM Sports only has 308 and 38/357 left, unfortunately.

Don't worry too much about caliber.
You can sell the dies and conversion kit. Or parts may be usable. The shell plate and locator buttons are the same for .308 and .45ACP. Brian Enos has a look up based on what conversions you have, and what you want to end up wth. |

I wouldn’t worry about the dies. On a shameless plug side note, I have .357/.38 and .308 Dillon dies for sale in the classifieds right now for much less than new. And they are about new. Good luck with your purchase. The 750 looks pretty awesome! |
