Is the 10/22 takedown worth 350+tax?

    If you are going to mount a scope on it the standard 10/22 will be more accurate with the fixed barrel. If you are going to break it down and carry it in a backpack or throw it in a car/truck and shoot the iron sights the take down works great for that. I have both but shoot the one with the laminated thumbhole stock the most.

    I've shot about 300 rounds through my takedown, both iron sights and with a scope. It's held its zero time after time and is dead-on accurate (to 100 yds). Are you having a different experience with yours?
