Who did you vote for MD Governor (2018 election)?

This is an anonymous poll, but feel free to bump the thread in case you want to also post who you supported or if you want to hazard a prediction of who will be elected and by what margin.

Please save the back-and-forth justifications of why you voted one way for one of the existing debate threads.

Curious to get a sense of the 2A community perspective, at least those that frequent MDS, given Hogan signing gun control legislation and signaling that he will support additional measures in the future.

We've heard the lesser of two evils argument, that Jealous is a greater danger when it comes to 2A protections and other issues, that protest votes are counterproductive, etc. No need to get into recrimination here.

Apologies to Tapatalk folks that can't see the poll results or vote (unless they use a web browser).

So what is the pulse of the community, and who do you think will win and by how much?

Hogan. On 2A issues, he's not solid...but the opposition is aggressively hostile. And Hogan has brought the first competent governance to this state in a generation.

I just posted this on the other thread that's been going on for weeks..."at this point I am pretty sick of this crap. If you are a Socialist Gun Grabbing idiot who feels that he doesn't pay enough taxes and wants local businesses to suffer through increased red tape and regulation, please by all means vote for Jealous or whoever you want.
If not vote for the frigging Governor, he is the best we have had here in MD in my lifetime (I am from here and 55)
Larry Hogan is not perfect but he is way better than we have any right to hope for here.
Go do whats right and vote for the man.
I am assuming the folks bitching are left wing trolls."

Even though early October polling indicated that Hogan might be up 20% relative to Jealous, I think Hogan wins by low double digits (10-13%) as registered Democrats in MD seem motivated based on early voting tallies, and the most motivated would likely also support Jealous.

I actually would like to see Hogan win by a narrow margin (e.g. 2-3%) and have polling reveal that it was due to a loss of enthusiasm among MD conservative voters, but I doubt it will be that close.

Hogan by a lot. Can't give you numbers, but I believe the term "Smoked him" will be heard in the Governor's mansion. I see Jeslous as a weaker candidate than Erlichs victim KKT.

Hogan, as the overall better option for the state as a whole.

I'm not a single issue voter, and try to understand the overall conditions of what it takes to play the game of politics.

We also need to understand that the actions of some aspects of governmental influence are governed by their internal leadership, and not attributable to the Governor.

On a chuckle-note, I did see some new signs over the weekend, "Make the Governor Jealous".

7 on clever, 2 on electability

Bein' Zealous has something in his favor that KKT (We scored a football!) didn't.

He pretends to be part of the black community, so there is some currency with that.

But then, there was Buster Brownstain, so..........
