Wal-Mart sells them... at least, they used to. The Mark II was a staple of their .22 gun sales for a while.

I got a 10 round one at dicks. Personally I would prefer a flush fitting one over the 10 round one.

You could also try Gun Clip Depot (http://www.gunclips.net). They have good prices and ship the same day usually.
Even the 5 round Savage mag sticks out a bit. If you want flush fitting, you need to be looking at a Marlin Model 60 or a Ruger 10/22.

The Remington 597 has a 10-rnd mag that isn't flush, but only sticks out about a half-inch.

yea i know I should have said MORE flush fitting. really the magazines are the only problem I have with mine.
They have quite a good selection of magazines. I just can't believe it costs $20-$25 (not just there btw) for a 10rnd mag for my cheapo $110 22lr

Some of GunClip Depot's mags are a great price. But cheap price could mean cheap in quality. You never know, so it's best to research. Ruger wanted $39.95 for 20-rnd Mini-14 mags, but I got the steel mags @ the Deport for half the price. They had polymer mags for $13.95, but they were out. I was going to try one.
