I have a Springfield Armory XDm in 10mm that I purchased this past Sunday. I have three more magazines coming in today. I have put about 90 rounds through it so far, half Sig and half my reloads. No functional problems, but that trigger is heavy and mushy. I have already ordered a trigger upgrade, should be here next week. I added grip tape to that order, as the plastic grip is pretty slick in this low humidity weather. Recoil wasn't bad with full power loads, but I'm going to wait for the grip tape before I try shooting it faster. I have to adjust my grip every other round since the grip slides around so much. The sights are better than the ones on the Glock 35 I used to have, which was my last foray into striker fired. I'm holding off final judgement until after I get the upgrades. I'm posting pictures of some of the groups I shot pre-upgrade so I can show a before and after.

On a related note, this is my fourth SA. The three handguns and the M1a all have heavy triggers. I have taken the two 1911s ( Range Officer and TRP Operator) to a gunsmith to get the triggers lightened. The M1a will be joining them in the trigger job team.

Of all the striker-fired pistols I've tried, Walther has the lightest and crispest trigger straight out of the box, bar none. HK and Steyr are very close seconds.

Things are really coming together for this pistol. The Powder River Precision Extreme Trigger Kit came today. I was concerned about installing the kit, but YouTube to the rescue. Powder River has a video on how to install everything in the kit. I have installed the striker safety lever, sear, and sear spring. Big difference in the trigger pull. I'm going to the range on Monday for a live fire test before I install the rest of the kit. It's still a little mushy but it breaks clean and there's a positive reset.
