    Description:

Due to the availability of after-market parts to convert this into a cartridge firearm, it is treated as a modern firearm and must be sold accordingly. Please bear this in mind when purchasing.

This is on a Ruger Old Army in the Gun Library.

That's all kinds of stupid. :mad54: I bet that means we can't buy it here because it's not on the roster?

They probably ought to be selling all their AR's as NFA...you know, because of the availability of sub 16" barrels.

I guess I'll make Gander my goto big box outdoor store...oh...wait...:sad20:

Cabalas in Short Pump Va. doesn't recognize C&R. If ammo is on the shelves for a handgun it is not C&R according to them.

Soon it will only be the Bass Pro/Cabela's as a big box store 'choice'. I do not really consider Dick's to be in that category.

I've order two 1858's from Cabelas in the past year. I pulled up an old army and didn't see the text

So they are telling you because you can buy conversion cylinders else where that you can't buy them?

I never bother with those cylinders as the ones I have seen cost as much or more than I can find a standard '58 on sale.
