Who around threads pistol barrels, properly? Also need to relocate the front sight.

Vince talked me into a couple of cans. :)

Chad spoke highly of the Trigger Doctor's work. That'd be good enough recommendation for me.

You also have the option of using ADCO firearms (look them up on Google - they're out of Ohio I think). Their prices are cheap and they do top notch work. Their turn around time is just a few days as well.

I called Bollingers and they will do barrel threading for $75.

    Why extended?

The pistol I am planning on doing is a Ruger 22/24 with 5.5" barrel. I would like the sight moved back, but no longer, in fact may get it shortened to use with the can.

22/45? That's a bit different since it has a fixed barrel and you can simply cut it down to ~4.5" and thread another .400" 1/2x28TPI. Browning action pistols don't usually have enough barrel physically fit the suppressor and recoil properly - hence why factory threaded barrels are generally a half inch or so longer.

Yes, was not clear on that.

I also have a Mitchell built SS Hi Standard, but I would like to get a spare barrel for that one to be threaded.

That is another choice. Although, when I did talk to him about threading barrels, he was quoting 1 month turn around.

Just checking on places. Preferably with references from people who have used them.

    Do they do good work?

I have heard their sear block removal is not the best.
