we have repeatedly heard about the 'assault weapons ban' cry and how evil guns are and every argument against them for years. Something new that is disconcerting to me is that they are now crying 'Who needs more than 1 gun?' 'Noone should be allowed to own 10, 20 or 50 guns'. Also when they start calling a person extreme when they have 1000 rounds of ammo. I forsee tracking of ammunition purchases at a federal level coming soon to a Wally World near you. Help them figure out who is really the radicals to watch!

I'm sure that concept is planted in some their 'so-called' minds, but it's so far away from reality that it will die on the vine. Not saying that some of the looney left won't have wet dreams about it, though. :innocent0

It's not the national level where I have concern. It's what the evil state of Maryland will do. Several states have already restricted internet ammo sales and talked about waiting periods for ammo. This state is left enough to do something like that. In the political eyes, MD has some of the nations most strict gun laws already and they already have a law on the books preventing a normal buyer from getting more than one handgun every 30 days.

It seems hard to track ammo sales especially with cash purchases. I couldn't imagine a dem getting elected and trying to have another 2013.

That idea is nothing new. In the early '90s there were such proposals in the State House in Annapolis..."arsenal" taxes, limits on what one can own, etc. These ideas get regurgitated every now and again and have to be swatted down each time.

google is your friend, I am not.
Not new. We have a 1 gun a month law in MD and VA gov has been trying to pass one for a while.

Also applies to wealth by the way. Not allowed to have more than x$ or they will tax the crap out of it. Its socialism.

What seems to be missed by our MSM is that even someone owning 1000 guns still will only have 2 hands. It's not like they can all be fired at once by one individual.

That's why I have my stash and my shooting ammo. I have ammo that will not be used at the range. Call it my special ammo.....

I do something similar... I keep my shooting ammo "un-inventoried" so I don't have to update tracking every time I shoot a couple of boxes (I like to add to the inventory, not subtract). The shooting stuff stays in one area, and the "stash" stays in another.... but I'll be the first to admit, I'm anal retentive.

Oh yeah. I get mad at the wife when she puts groceries away if the labels aren't facing forward. I'm bad, really bad.

    I do this too.

My brother hates when I leave the TV volume on a prime number.

I keep waiting for this. And, someone should point them to the Myth Busters episode about trying to shoot two handed. Spoiler: it's infinitely better to fire one at a time an reload than to try to fire two at a time.

My TV volume has to be on an even number. IT CANNOT BE ON AN ODD NUMBER.

That is why I love my sound bar. No numbers, just a bad indicator. I used to be an only even number guy.

Yeah, I’ll admit to have a can of m193, m855 and m80 that doesn’t get shot. It just sits there and looks pretty.

I don’t dip in to that at all.
