So I moved to Pahrump NV outside of Las Vegas the end of 8/18 and went to my first 2 gun shows since I moved, one las month in Phoenix and today in Las Vegas. The gun shows here have been a huge disappointment I am sad to say.
The good: There are guns here we rarely seen in the DMV/PA area. Especially MD. AR pistols everywhere AR's and AK's in every variation.
The bad: EVERYTHING else!!!
No component suppliers 1 vendor had primers at the show today several had small quantities of brass almost no projectiles and NO powder whatsoever.
2 vendors had ammo cans and 1 of them only had a few beat to hell .50s
There are no vendors with parts except for AR and AK parts. In shows back home I bought parts for my M1 carbine several times. Not here.
There were 3 vendors carrying a couple bottle each of Hoppes. That was it for cleaning supplies. Since I was there was looking to pick up a can of Break-Free and a couple bore brushes so no joy there.
No vintage mil-surp at all. I liked looking through the vendors back home that would bring things like sks bandoliers and WWI Grenade Vests or WWII suspenders....things like that. Absolutely none of that here. They did have a AMSOIL and several turquoise booths though lol
So to all of you back in MD appreciate the Nations Gun show and the show up in Gettysburg because we arent that lucky out here.
Its pretty sad when a small town like Gettysburg has better gun shows then 2 big cities in strong 2nd Amendment states like NV and AZ
