I'm happy to have made it this far. Looking forward to next months match, where I'll have performed maintenance on my PCC prior to the match so it doesn't misfeed.

How can I get started in competitive pistol shooting? I live in Severn, MD and would like to try it, if I can compete with just a street gun (not a special, high priced one).

Check out the USPSA and IDPA matches at Anne Arundel Fish and Game in Annapolis. Very good spot to get started. And for sure you can use your "street gun". Production division or SSP is where your stock piece will be welcome.

find the idpa and uspsa websites, they list clubs/matches near you. also www.practiscore.com. normally on sat's and sun's. just go to one, watch what they're doing and ask all the ??? you have. there are divisions for basic factory guns in all of the games. i think anne arundel fish & game (aafg) is near you and they host matches, so check them out. and just read thru this whole competition section here, lots of helpful info. it is a LOT of fun, you will be glad you jumped in!

The way production is turning Limited may be better for a "street gun" :lol2:
