I shoot at the two clubs in the links above. Although MY game is lever action silhouette (it is not cowboy action shooting) there are other silhouette matches at both clubs.
Atglen is 45 minutes north of Elkton. For the lever action matches on Saturdays we shoot 22 rimfire first then pistol caliber after that. Both are out to a max of 100 meters. Then after lunch the "rifle" silhouette match that goes out to 200 meters. This is with calibers such as 30-30, 35 Remington, 38-55, 45-70.....
There are other silhouette matches with different firearms on their schedule. There are at least two games where the Rams are set up at 500 meters!
Seitzland is 25 minutes north of Hereford. Lever action and handgun matches are shot on the same day concurrently on the same range. All out to a maximum of 100 meters.
Nothing but good folks running the matches and participating.
The "competition" is laid back and there is no run and gun action.
Check them out. You most likely have a firearm or two that you can use for a match.
I drive from the central Eastern Shore and consider both places well worth the trip.
