    Tree Removal Needed

I think I posted for this before, but I can't find it, and the PMs I had are gone...

I have a 65-ish year-old Silver Maple that is dying faster than I thought it was, so I'd like to get some opinions and options for removal before winter.

I'd like to get the fireplace-grade wood cut to length as I don't have an adequate chainsaw, but anything else can go away.

Just wanted to give members first crack before I start hunting.

Licensed and insured is a must, as some tight(ish) tolerances will need to be factored in.

I used Adirondack Tree Experts a year ago and was happy with the price and service (in case you don't find an MDS connection)

DO NOT USE GREEN TREES INC from Pasadena MD. Lets just say they are not in good standing with a few important items

I sub Benfield Tree Service for any trees too large for me to handle.

I would look at it myself first, but I am booked with installs.

For trees I'm not wanting to do myself, I use Arundel Tree Service. They've done over a dozen trees for me. Good prices. They have a boom/bucket truck as well as the standard chippers and will also climb and cut, etc.

    The deed is done.

I need to move and do some cleanup, but I was very happy with the work.

Thanks to kc day for the lead!

I'll probably be posting soon to give away the big rounds, once I decide what I'm keeping and see what the neighbor wants.
