Wanted to show off another project I am working on. This one is a conversion kit that makes an HK SL8 look like the now defunct HK XM8. This is a 100% bolt-on kit. No mods to the SL8 needed. Right now we are on version 2 of the prototype which was just on display at SHOT Show. The full size in .223 and a compact in .300 AAC. Pretty much have everything figured out minus the sliding stock which is now pinned. Version 3 should have a fully functioning switch operated/locking sliding stock just like the real thing.

Hoping to sell these in the future. Lemme know what you think!

    Back in MD sadly
That looks bad-ass. I've been looking at these from SHOT pics. I thought one had to do a full conversion first to the G36 standard to use it but if it just replaces the standard stock it definitely makes it more of something I want to do in the future.

Nope, no G36 conversion needed unless you wanna go the XM8 compact route. Then you would need a G36c barrel and the SBR tax stamp to go along with it.

Other than that it all bolts right onto a factory SL8.

I love Tommy’s work. He’s a magician with the polymer work!
