SALE

Was about to start a big sale this morning, but ATF showed up for the yearly audit. So stay tuned, a sale is coming.

If this sale involves a certain Coonan 357 1911, I'll be in sooner than planned. Also interested in a 9mm 1911 and if prices are good enough I may do my first ever more than one gun on a single piece of paperwork.

Hopefully all goes well with the audit and it isn't too disruptive to your business!

It is only in recent years that BATF Agents have become politicized. I think it started on Clinton's watch. Before that, I remember working with them and they weren't bad people. Many of them were gun lovers just like us. I served in the NJANG with a few also and they were gun nuts for sure.

In the later years, I met one who was so stupid, he didn't even know what caliber the gun was that I handed him. I let him look at my Sig 220, which has a big 45 on the side and asks me, "so, is this a 9mm." I thought one of the other guys with us was going to split a gut he was laughing so hard.

They have hired some real "special" people in the last few years.

Best I personally heard was an "agent" asking a dealer, "who is this Kimber person? You have a lot of sales to/from him." Did not know that Kimber was a manufacturer.

Don't think they could hire a gun person today if they tried, worse, they get the bottom % of people who can become a fed today so the downward spiral continues.
