    5.7 40 gr v-max is too much for a fox unfortunately...but I made my damned point! My first called in fox too! Mouth call- bun bun in distress, and battery operated "prey" gizmo. Whole property is a fox highway too, need to spend a few days with hay sets and my vixen in heat urine.

    I have been hunting the same deer stand for about 15 yrs.I would always see at least one or two foxes every evening.I havent seen a single one in the last three yrs.I thing mange has done them in around here because I havent seen any signs of yotes.

    Hey Foxtrapper, nice shot. Have you ever seen a fox that is very light like creme colored with dark red/brown sox on it? I saw two of them a couple of weeks ago and forgot to ask you. I couldn't even find a picture of anything close on google images. Really nice looking foxes. I think I am going to try to get one of them.

    Congrats! At what distance? Holographic sight?

    FN green fiber optic/ white reticle, and 20-25 yds. Here's pic to show the distance. The corn pile down there is where the fox is.

    LOL to whoever said I had enough to kill 49 more. Actually 48 more. Shot fox twice. I kept the mag full for some sort of ritual aspect.
