After much lurking I finally registered. Not sure why it took me so long! Name's Teddy and I've been shooting since I could buy my first handgun (Glock 22) a mere 5 years ago save for wimpy .22 rifles at camp. I even got myself some Title II stuff (suppressors) and a C&R license after reading about it on here. :D

Normally I shoot at Continental Arms so if Andy, Jay, Chad et. al. are around here - I took your advice and came here.

Out my loathing of this state's utterly inane CCW laws, I've made it my mission to send my money to every other state that will take it. Currently in my wallet I have CCW permits from the states of CT, NH, ME, UT, VA and FL. Too bad you didn't get the collective $400 I spent elsewhere MD! Also, I shop only on Amazon so MD does not collect any sales tax from me. :kicknuts:

I guess you're wondering why I still live here after all of my bitching? 25 years after birth and still at school, I can't leave it. Sigh.

The only thing I can say nice about this place is that at least the MSP are shall-issue when it comes to MGs, SBR, SBS, etc.

My life's goal is repealing the National Firearms Act - or at least Comrade Hughs's amendment. I shouldn't have to spend 10k for a decent MG in this country. Law school next fall probably so I can at least give myself the right set of tools.

Anyway, I hope this upcoming legislative session will be more fruitful. Rumours abound about Commisar Frosh having an epiphany. :lol2:

    Welcome.

What does the VA permit get you that the FL permit leaves out?

Nothing. I just wanted to say "Thank you Virginia!" for offering me a non-resident permit. I know, as far as benefits, it's a waste. But hey, at least they know.
