    So there are a lot of videos on disassembly and reassembly of the P226. Apparently there are legacy slides and others that aren't quite the same as mine.

    Anyone have a video that included the reassembly of the slide which requires the half hole punch and the new style extractor. That is the newest slide design.

    I want to purchase all new springs so I'm not in a rush but am surprised there aren't many quality videos with this slide in it.

    Another question is where to get the springs and pins in the picture? Looks like there are about 3 or 4 sites and all are out of stock.

    Am I the only one who take these things apart and replaces the springs?

    Put it back together as you cannot buy the springs anywhere despite the Sig recommendation of replacement at 10,000 rounds.

    Schedule I found somewhere:

    Decocking lever spring: 10,000
    Extractor: 20,000
    Extractor spring: 20,000 (outer and inner too?)
    Firing pin: 20,000
    Firing pin spring: 20,000
    Magazine spring: When magazine fails to lock the slide open. *
    Recoil spring: 5,000 †
    Roll pins for breechblock retention (pins, HD): 5000 ‡
    Safety lock spring: 20,000
    Slide catch lever and spring: 10,000 §
    Takedown lever: 20,000
    Trigger bar spring: 10,000

    The list doesn't include the sear spring.

    I thought I'd replace most on this list but it's impossible to find the parts.
