    I think you can still build an HBAR or a 308?
    Heard second hand you can buy California legal Ar's.

    The BATFE determined a while ago that the use of a pre-programming CMC machine does not make the person who pushes the button the manufacturer. The person who programmed the machine is.

    They hit some CNC build parties in CA.

    No one knows if you can build an HBAR. MD says the receiver is a banned ALG. So finishing an 80%, even with the intent of making an HBAR may or may not be legal.

    But until there is a test case, you are taking a chance on BEING that test case.
