Shotgun Training

Hi everyone. I'm looking for beginner lessons on how to use a shotgun. I'm a new gun owner, and I want to develop some proficiency (and maybe as I get better start using it for more hobby-related activities like hunting or clays). I see a lot of training courses on handguns (for obvious Maryland reasons), but not a lot of opportunities to get instruction on shotgun use. I'd be interested in a either a class or private instruction time.

I'm near Baltimore, but I don't mind a bit of a drive.

You can also rent a nice Beretta shogun from them.

What kind of training are you looking for? Basic manipulation and safety, or tactical/ technical shooting skills?

shootgun training

The Maryland Gun Training Center (http://www.mdguntraining.com/pages/courses.html) offers a NRA Basic Shotgun Shooting class at the Associated Gun Clubs of Baltimore. If you would prefer one on one at the AGC Trap Range as my guest, I'd be happy to help.

I'm a beginner, so I probably should start with a bit of the former, but work up to the latter.

Okay. Well i'm over in east bmore and can show you the basics if you'd like. Buy some snapcap shells https://www.amazon.com/Zoom-Precisio.../dp/B0029M2YWE

You can practice your weapons manipulation without risk of a ND using these.
