Hi all. New member here. Just wanted to share my M1 Garand with you all. To the best of my knowledge it is a June of 1943. This was given to me as a High School graduation gift from my grandfather and I look forward to passing it down to my future son.

    Thanks!

If that rifle is all original as it left Springfield Armory it carries some significant market value regardless of its family value. The stock alone is worth some coin. Someone with real M1 knowledge should examine it and give an insurance value.

I've never seen cartouches that deep and the crossed cannons look hinky......I'd be interested in seeing what the experts say on that. The rifle itself looks mighty nice though.
