The front sight on my 22/45 has come loose. Rather than tighten it with some Loctite or something, I think it's a good time to get new sights.

What do you use or recommend? Should I do both the rear and front or just front?

If you are older, like me, best thing is a set of Williams Firesights (F&R)(and maybe if you aren't old either). Ruger even put a set of those on one of their factory 10/22s. They have smaller finer FO tubes than say TruGlo or HiViz. Single tube front and pair in the rear. Different colors also, either red in front, green in back or green in front, red in back. Up till I got a set of those I stuck mostly with red dot sights. Those sights allow me to shoot iron sight guns that I could not be consistent with before.
