Wow, lot of great advice for me. Thanks guys!

My inclination is to drive up to Frederick and see the fireworks since I live just of I-270. Can someone confirm if the fireworks are really going to happen on 6/27 which is tomorrow (Saturday) and not on the 4th itself? That seems weird since the 4th is also a Saturday.

Thanks again for all the great suggestions.

Just be sure you or your kids don't light a sparkler in celebration of the 4th if you're in MoCo.

    They're illegal there.

MoCo already celebrated Independence Day in early June this year so it wouldn't conflict with Ramadan. The theme was green energy, not American Independence.

Oops, that wasn't MoCo; it was the US Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia.

MoCo probably banned it altogether, because it's a symbol of America's racist past (and present).

Probably baker park in Fredneck, don't have to worry about removing my Confederate Battle Flag from my truck. Better go see the Francis Scott Key statue before that's taken down like the Sadaam statue because he owned slaves. Crazy

    Sunday for Middletown.

    5:30 start for festivities.

Thanks for the continued good advice guys. I don't think that I am up for the Middletown fireworks on Sunday since I have to be in to work early on Monday. I'll check out the fireworks at Baker Park in Frederick to see if they are having the fireworks on the real 4th of July!

PS: Yes, I know the rules about not having personal fireworks in MoCo, Sigh!

I'll be driving into work to hang out with my coworker and watch the fireworks in Frederick from the top of a hill. Also traffic will be zero, because it is a closed facility after hours. :D
