Please let me know if this is the right place. My father purchased a used American made Walther tph. After taking it apart cleaned it and lubed it and took it to the range. The problem is the gun will not cycle. The extractor is working fine, after the bullet is fired the gun will eject the casing. I know many 22 guns are ammo sensitive.We have run just about everything except cci stingers.
The only problem I see is the slide meets much more resistance when it slides over the hammer(hammer cocked ). I did polish the friction surfaces and it help.
With the hammer in the cocked position should there be resistance. The hammer could go another3/16th untill it would bottom out.
suggestions?
