  • Grew up learning to shoot first on .177 air guns. I have a Benjamin Marauder Synrod PCP .25cal arriving tomorrow, but I am not knowledgeable in the maintenance and care of PCP guns as this will be my first. Is there things I should absolutely do first thing when I get the rifle, and things I should absolutely never do?

Another great air gun forum is http://www.airgunnation.com/

That's a nice gun. I'm still using my first air gun purchase for a little over a year and a half. It's a Diana 34 .22 cal spring piston break barrel. Love it, but been thinking about pcp for a while now. Looking at that Marauder in either .22 or .25 Enjoy your new gun.

If you want the info from one of the original airgun sites go to the "yellow". It's very antiquated in design, but I can pretty much guarantee that 90% of the stuff you read on any of the "newer" sites had been done and or talked about first on the yellow.

Lots of "new" ideas on those recent sites actually got "invented" years before on the yellow.
