Because more accidents were labelled "intention" to support the agenda?

    I read the article:

"Experts attribute the decline to a mix of gun safety education programs, state laws regulating gun storage in homes and a drop in the number of households that have guns. While the improvement occurred in every state, those with the most guns and the fewest laws continue to have the most accidental shooting deaths."

"The National Rifle Assn., which opposes most gun control measures, is not eager to acknowledge that gun regulations may be working. The group declined to comment for this article."

Article sounds like the typical less guns more regulation

I agree with the Darwin theory. Most of the dumb people have already killed themselves.

We are running out of idiots.

No mention of course about numbers of hunters in those states with "most guns and fewest laws" relative to other states.

In a report published in 2015, researchers at the University of Chicago found that 31% of households reported having a firearm in 2014, down from about 48% in 1977 to 1980.

People were more trusting back in the '70s. I and my family members won't tell someone-claiming-to-be-a-university-surveyor squat.

Given the tone of the article, this “data” is subjective and I’m not inclined to take it as fact.

Do we know for sure that the number of households with guns is declining, or do we believe it because it’s in this article? NICS checks are increasing each month, gun sales are on the rise, yet the number of households without guns is declining? It is possible that gun ownership is increasing while households without guns also are increasing, but I’m going with not trusting the article here.

The number of idiots is definitely not declining.
