    Providing you have a carry permit in Maryland. Does the law differentiate between rifle caliber pistols and just regular handguns? Could you potentially carry them concealed in a backpack or in your vehicle?

    YEs, there is no difference between pistol calibers or rifle calibers.

    Technically, you could carry a short barreled rifle (SBR) because of the verbiage used to describe concealed weapons. The main concern is that the firearm is not on the banned list.
