Fun new gun. Anderson upper, lower, and BCG. Del-Ton internals, stainless 7.5" barrel in .223 Wylde, Hogue grip. Hex-Mag true 10/30 mags. Thanks to my friends at Tyler Firearms for advising on the parts, procuring them, and everything else. I've trusted them for years.

    Looks like fun, congrats.

Do you have other plans for the sights?

I like the pop-up sights on it right now. The rear sight has small and large apertures. I'm thinking about adding a 45 degree mounted holographic. I'm going to shoot it first and see. I also have a 2-7x26 scout scope with long eye relief.

Think you need a long range scope on there... More tactical.

    Kidding. Looks great.

What's the trigger guard? Looks kinda cool.

I think the trigger guard is a DMA, Inc. XTS-TG. I prefer to hold the trigger lower, and it gives my finger plenty of room. I really like the positive sear reset on the Del-Ton LPK.

I was wondering how the sights would be with such a short sight radius.
Also, think of how far out your handgun front sight would be compared to this with a cheek weld on the tube. I will be you will be much happier once you put a holographic on it. Probably much quicker to acquire your target too.

Have fun and enjoy the fireball :)

Nice build now get yourself a sig brace.

I'm going to try shooting it with the buffer tube alongside my cheek first. The back of the buffer tube is right at the back of my jaw, so it's really easy to get a consistent sight picture. Now that the ATF has classified its stance on shouldering the Sig brace, it's more of a possibility.

My philosophy of use on this is to start simple and work up. I have a holographic sight on a quick dismount base, so I'll be bringing it to the range next week.

I am running a primary arms micro dot on mine and it works perfect for quick acquisition on my AR pistol

Update: I took kraftyone's advice, removed the rear sight, installed a holographic sight in its place, and I'm going to co-witness it with the front sight.

    Nice.

Any thoughts on a Kak tube and shockwave blade?

I threw together a pistol with PSA 8.5 inch upper and I am surprised I can do OK at 75 yards. And that's with some real cheap Ruger rapid deploy sights.
