Is the SKS "left handed" friendly? I need another 7.62X39 platform, but I always worry about brass or powder in my face.
I've shot various sks rifles over the years left handed and haven't had any issues with powder or brass/steel casings in the face
I just shot a new sks rifle for the first time and it seemed that most of the casings ended up landing more forward than back and I remember thinking that it would be good rifle for a lefty.

Cool. I am glad someone else gets it. It is something a right handed person wouldn't understand.

I shoot both left and right handed. My son shoots left handed. Neither of us have any issues with the SKS. It's a fun gun to shoot and you will be happy.

Well shit. Too bad I don't have a free day until after Christmas. I'm sure they will be gone by then.
There are a few with dinged stocks discounted to $475. All rifles include ammo pouch, cleaning kit, brass oiler & oiler pouch, sling, and original yugo military paperwork.
