Hello all. Just have a quick question for those of you more well versed in MD laws than myself. I live in NC and will be traveling North through MD tomorrow evening. I like to keep a rifle caliber in my vehicle when traveling and I'm wondering if I can legally travel through MD with a suppressed home built AR pistol chambered in .300BLK. It is a full feature firearm and has 30 round magazines as we have no restrictions in NC. I will of course have a copy of my tax stamp and unload & lock away the gun in a case (mags/ammo in separate case) located in the trunk prior to crossing MD state lines as I understand that is a requirement for pistols. Attached is a photo of the pistol in question. Thanks for your help!

Are you required to notify the atf if you are going to a different state with a suppressor?

google is your friend, I am not.
I am confused about the part where you say "home built AR pistol chambered in .300BLK. It is a full feature rifle..."

Is this a rifle (SBR) or pistol? I see an AR pistol with a brace. An SBR would probably not be ok since SBRs have extra full stupid rules in MD. If this is a pistol you are gtg.

You are good in MD. If you plan on going through DE, I believe suppressors are illegal there.
