Had a good evening tonight. Delegate Kathy Afzali took the time to talk to my Cub Scouts, and she walked the parade with them. Very cool.

Gonna have to stay connected with her as she runs for County Executive in Frederick.

 she's a nice lady and gets my vote. Haven't been to the parade in a while since my daughter's activities have had conflicts, but it was always a great time.

I like what she stands for and she's got my vote, but she ticked me off a few years back. I had signs for some local Republicans/Independents in my yard the week before an election, and she (her personally) stuck one of her signs in there too. Didn't knock on the door and ask if it was ok, she just did it. I watched her do it. I'm sure she was in a rush to get as many out as possible, but knocking on 10 doors will do a LOT more than sticking 100 signs in people's yards. I didn't think that was too cool.

Looks like it was a good time.

Interesting. Had the same thing happen at our place, maybe she is a conservative but she is also a power hungry bitch with a chip on her shoulder. Also had dealing with her on legislation in Annapolis as part of our delegation, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't like how she and Hough went after Brinkley, they were more concerned about taking down another Republican than going after Ron Young. County Executive, I think she would make a poor one. It's one thing being an underdog bomb thrower and another running a large organization. The County employees suffered enough under the other Young and now Jan gives every free dime to the schools.
