Hey guys, I had a cool idea that I've been wanting to try for a while, but never got the time to until now. I decided to try and make a collapsible buttpad for a standard AR stock, so I can make minor adjustments that the standard buffer tube notches can't. It is DESIGNED to make minor adjustments, but as a side-effect, it also manages to make the OAL of any firearm ~3.5" longer. That part may help us SBR users obtain a 29" OAL when using a 7.5" upper. This is just a very rough version I made using an old stock, but I will be making another version after hearing everyone's feedback! I plan on adding a small thumb screw that will clamp down on the metal rod to hold it in place. I look forward to hearing what you all have to say!
