geneseo barrels

looking for opinions from those who know more then me . opinion on Geneseo barrels application Garand

Never heard of them. Criterion is what I normally hear.

But for Garand advice, I would head over to CMP Forums. MUCHO Garand (and Carbine, and Springfield) knowledge there.

ok my mistake its Geneseo IL all I can find out is commercial production barrels for Springfield I've heard of Criterion that's the norm. Ill have to do more digging to see if Springfield had a plant maybe in this Geneseo IL

Those are commercial springfield armory barrels not USGI (hence the geneseo il tag) probably not much different than criterion, possibly even bought from them...

well I will have an opinion sooner then later won the auction from lock stock and barrel re: Geneseo IL question I've been watching this one sense Thanksgiving almost got taken by a scam on Armlist with mds ers help avoided that turned out it was Lock stock and barrels M1 so started to follow it their auction was extended 30 mins and I still came out on top 10 min rule BS Imo ships Wednesday pics to come thanks to every one and thankful for a place like MDS

did you check the serial number? Springfield armory inc made non usgi garands (cast receivers) and also built nice rifles on unmarked italian receivers (forged)

if the whole rifle is springfield inc that changes the value alot.
