Now I'm truly and legitimately worried my late June '16 purchase won't be ready for pickup when I'm in MD in late July....

When you say purchase, was a form 3 transfer involved? If so, when did the F4 go in?

Key word, "supposedly". I have never purchased through the SS. I wonder if yours was part of the 10k forms? I have had a couple F1's from June and July returned.

I have had differing experiences with SS. First can I bought from them, it took 3 moths for the F3 to go through. The last time(my latest can), they guaranteed simultaneous F3 and F4 submissions and at the same time guaranteeing F3 approval before 7/14/16. I have no way of knowing if that was the case. I just buy these things and try and put it out of my mind until they show up.
F3 was approved in September. 3 months after submission. F4 was submitted 7/7.
You should be getting close then. Does the dealer have your new contact info since you moved?

Wonder how long 5320.20s are taking. Forgot to renew mine so could not take my babies to an out-of-state range this last weekend. 
Sent the renewals in a week or so ago. Just waiting for them to return.
