    Right, so - "no MS13 activity" at the school. But the kids who go there have to wade through it yards away every day coming and going, and live in neighborhoods drenched in it. Nothing to see here! Noble public educator has it all taken care of!

    Didn't Riverdale used to be a good neighborhood?

    I seem to remember nice lawns, good cars, and decent families in that area back in the late 70s...

    But, I'm guessing it suffered the same fate of many older neighborhoods, where the homes were long since paid off, are now 3d generation owned, and the care factor is gone (or they've become rentals... same effect.)

    I don't understand why anyone would doubt the Principal and the counselors?

    Time was, school Principals would involve the influence of the school into the community, in an effort to create some continuity and goodwill.

    That would create a situation where people were involved with each other, took an interest in the bigger picture, and some shame for the miscreants.

    I miss those times.
