Thank you to all who are going to make it tomorrow and for those of you sharing on social media, you guys rock! Hopefully through all of our efforts we can give this hero the send off that he deserves.

And for those that are interested R&R is back from sunny Florida and will be there tomorrow as well.

Dr. M please tell the Missus to look for the ugly guys with the flags, can't miss us.

A group of American Legion Riders will be leaving from the Aberdeen AL post 128 to attend.

I am a 22 year member of Post 128. Don't ride any more but will be there barring any unforeseen circumstances

Unfortunately we will miss today’s funeral, as my boss kind of blew up my work day today.

Thank you to you folks for attending. It’s astounding to me that fort Meade or some other place can’t throw a few dozen guys in a bus to honor a fellow soldier, especially a decorated one.

There was a pretty solid turnout. Lots of clubs/groups represented.

Yes it was. Got to spend a few minutes speaking with Rack, Deep Lurker, Stoveman, GTOGunner and the rest of Patriot Picket that were serving as the Color Guard. Jeff is looking great and as usual his enthusiasm should be an inspiration for all to witness! It was great to see so many turned out to honor a man (a hero of freedom) that had no family and they had never met. Here are a few pics.

I wish I could have been there - I would have played "Taps" if it wasn't already being covered by someone with a real horn - I HATE the electronic bugle. Unfortunately I had a telephone interview this morning, and my normal Thursday morning meetings that run until 11:00ish.

It was full military honors but I did not see if there was a live bugler playing Taps there or not?
