Sounds like a good match! I'll be shooting another 6.5, commissioned it the weekend after the match as I has a feeling the Voodoo would no longer be welcome.. For good reason I suppose.
    See ya there!

Looks like a great COF. Question: what is the speed of the mover in either FPS or MPH, if that information isn't classified?
I got a chuckle out of the MV limitations, as I know what that is about ;)

About as fast as you can pull it by hand, thanks for volunterring!

cool, I can manage that. The answer to the question then is "pretty f*@#'in fast!"

If we're not running a handgun side match, I can pull it. Wouldn't be the first time I've pulled a drone.

Hey, my friend and I are relatively new to the LR high power game and are interested in this match, and if there are two spots left we'd like to take part. I don't know if you want two FNGs that are going to drag the average score down though, haha. Please let me know. We're planning to work on loads and whatnot for the next few weeks to get prepared.

Also: Is there any way to shoot at Mayberry other than at comps? I'd love to have access to a longer range more often, so far the longest we've used these guns at is 200 yards.

    Sgkaffl,
We would be happy to have you and your friend come out to the match. Send your registration fee and info to the address in the original post. Check out the course of fire so you know what to expect. And get good data on your rifle and load out to 600 yards, we won't have any time to check zeros at the match and there are no sighter shots allowed.

Mayberry is a private club, we have various matches every month so there are plenty of opportunities to shoot as a non-member. We have about a two year waiting list for membership so your best bet is to come out to the matches for the longer ranges.

    Hey guys!

I will get down there one of these days and shoot with you all. April is an overbooked month for me. A 2 day course and two matches already.

This looks like a good one. Course of fire looks difficult. >:-D

    Urban prone

I am unfamiliar with the term urban prone, is this the same as roll-over prone? The course of fire looks great, course sounds very challenging.

Yes, urban prone and rollover prone are the same. Basically the position you need to get low enough to the ground to shoot through a mouse hole.

this pretty good example of urban prone.

Of course, this is with a 7lb carbine; doing it w/ a 14lb precision long-gun is a tougher feat.

Wow, I tried that today it is really difficult, my barrel must weigh more than my whole Ar. St:)ill with a little practice it seems the hits are possible, at least if the target is a barn.:)

Excellent match, very challenging. For an action shooter this is like rocket science! I hope there will be another this year.
