if it is anything like the previous matches you'll run to 600 in 50 yard increments or so, stopping to shoot along the way.

Drmsparks is correct, you will move approximately 500 yards down range stopping in 25-50 yard intervals to shoot. Your entire run (shooting and moving) will be on the clock. You will need to carry enough mags and ammo on your body to complete the match as well.

    Steve,

As much as I wanted to shoot this match again I will not be able to due to shoulder surgery on the 27th. Looking forward to next years match now.

Now that I am signed up,I hope it isn't snowed out? I'll be watching to see what the conditions are leading up to Sat., must be horrible down there today.

MATCH CANCELLED, there is too much snow on the range. I attempted to get to the range today and was unable to and the depth of the snow would cover most of the targets that we planned on using.

We will try again later this year, hope to see you all there.

what a buncha wimps. when i did this a few years ago we were going prone in half a foot of snow. it was actually a lotta fun. just kidding on the wimp part, this snow is way deeper and going prone folks would need periscopes.
