The wood on the OP's rifle is the prettiest I've ever seen on a Tokarev. I used to have one but sold it (I can't keep everything). It was just a common rework though. These Finn captures always have beautiful patinas on them. Did I mention how pretty the stock is?

Thank you for the kind words. I was surprised how nice it looked myself when I got it. The online pictures on Gunbroker did not do it justice.

That stock. Wow. The Finns really did wonderful with their stocks. Maybe in an alternate universe somewhere they gave SKS’ the same treatment. In which case, there has never been a more important reason for mankind to uncover the mechanics of inter-dimensional travel!

I myself as you can tell am more into SKS’. But I’ve been an SVT fanboi for years now and have wanted to start a collection of them, but the prices have just been going higher and higher and higher. Bet you’re alright with that though ;) (to some extent)

Actually this one has a Soviet stock. From what I've read, apparently the Finns did make replacement stocks at Lindelhof (where this was reworked), but I have never seen one.

    That’s a real beauty.

Thanks, its one of the best looking stocks in my collection. The gun is alright too I guess :)
