I’m still having trouble with my trigger not resetting.

I tried The $.25 trigger video, as well as shaving down a little more of the barrel and rails. I took it to the range yesterday with only was able to fire one shot. I would’ve had it taken apart to push the trigger lever back.

Would I be able to take this to my local gun dealer for them to look at it? Or did they not want to mess around with these things? If so, what’s a good place to bring it?

Pm me with details on your build and I’ll attempt to help you get it fixed through msg, I don’t believe any shop will touch it.

So i was helping a buddy do a SS80 today and the plastic removal was fine and easy, everything aligned BUT we ran into an issue with the supplied trigger. The trigger, once pinned, will not move. It’s set back towards the rear of the guard. It’s like the entire trigger system is to short, it won’t articulate enough to work.

When not in the gun the tigger articulated enough and the trigger safety moves forward but once installed it’s like the trigger safety doesn’t clear the hump inside the frame.

Everything else fits/works flawlessly but the damn trigger.

I want to blame an out of spec trigger or out of spec frame cuz these aren’t very hard but has anyone else run into this? I’m open to user error ideas but when everything goes together so well I’m having a hard time blaming myself.

Check your trigger spring...could be bound up/twisted on you.

FYI, MidwayUSA has a lot of Poly80 frames on sale for $119.99.

That seems to be the going sale price these days. Months back the sales would be in the $79-109 range. Don't think we'll see those prices again due to the political picture. In fact, in the back of my mind I'm wondering if "ghost guns" could become a victim of gun control compromise.

You're luckier than I. Just did a search, couldn't find any at those prices

google fu ARMorALLY. I have not done business with them before but they check out and the price is right. Have an order in my cart as I write this but can’t tell you what shipping is.

Update: shipping on a frame, upper and lower parts kits was about $9

Follow up to this post. I ordered him a new trigger and we put the gun back together in perfect working order in 5 mins. Original trigger they sent was out if spec somehow. It’s not mine (cuz i don’t have any ;) ) so I’ll post a pic
