Does anyone hold Basic Pistol Classes in Frederick or points west? I have a S&W .40 at the local store and I assuming I'll get it towards the end of April. I would like to enroll myself and my wife.

I recently took the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course with Harold "Hal" Noer of SFS Firearms Training at a location between Smithsburg and Thurmont. I went alone since my wife and daughter are taking the Women on Target class, but there were several couples there.

Took basic rifle and shotgun with him so far this year. Had a fun time and he's a great instructor. Already registered for his range safety officer and basic pistol classes coming up soon.
I offe NRA Basic Pistol at the AGC which is close to Frederick. Your best bet would be Ben Kelkye. I believe he uses the Izaak Walton League range in Frederick.
What is AGC? I'm looking for a class for my son to take.

Both BRUZDZINSKI and KELKYE are great instructors.
